The PAS 24 Certification
PAS 24 is a test standard that is used to assess the security rated performance of doors and windows. It confirms that a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited certification body has monitored the security performance under set test conditions.
PAS 24 is a British Standard ‘minimum standard’ or requirement. So, although some security door-sets that pass will be stronger than the minimum requirement, you can be rest assured that our doors, at the very least, meet the minimum requirements.
Why you need a high security door
Doors are the most easily accessible point of entry into any premises and the first place any criminals will look to exploit and breach – security doors offer optimum strength and protection.
Standard wooden doors can require more maintenance over time. Weak points can develop that can become visible to potential intruders. Security fire doors are far less effected by natural elements.
